Every football shirt sold by Off The Bench is individually selected, carefully inspected and photographed before being listed online.

As many of the products we sell are unique vintage pieces, we encourage you to read each product description carefully and review all available photographs before placing your order.

If you have any questions regarding a shirt's condition, authenticity or sizing, please don't hesitate to contact us before purchasing. We'll always be happy to help.

Returns – European Union

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at offthebenchoy@gmail.com before returning your item.

Returned items should be sent back within 14 days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned:

in the same condition in which it was received;
unworn and unwashed;
free from any additional damage or signs of use;
with all original tags still attached.

Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

Returns – International Orders

We also accept returns from customers outside the European Union under the same return conditions described above.

Customers outside the European Union are responsible for complying with any customs requirements applicable when returning goods.

Please note that any import duties, taxes or customs clearance fees paid when the parcel entered your country are collected by your local customs authorities and cannot be refunded by Off The Bench.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost during return transit.

If you exercise your legal right of withdrawal within the European Union, we will reimburse the purchase price of the returned item(s) together with the cost of the original standard delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Any additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery method other than our standard shipping option are not refundable.

Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your parcel has been damaged during transport, or if you have received the wrong item, please contact us at offthebenchoy@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible and include photographs of both the item and its packaging.

We'll always work with you to find a fair and satisfactory solution.

Vintage Shirts

Most of the football shirts we sell are vintage and have had a previous life.

Small signs of wear, slight imperfections and age-related details are normal characteristics of vintage clothing and do not constitute defects where they have been clearly described or shown in the product description or photographs.

We take great care to accurately describe the condition of every shirt before it is offered for sale.

Authenticity

Every football shirt sold by Off The Bench is carefully authenticated before being offered for sale.

If you have any questions regarding the authenticity of an item you've purchased from us, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'll always be happy to discuss it with you.

Personalised Items

Products that have been personalised or customised at the customer's request cannot be returned once the customisation process has begun, unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Sale Items & Gift Cards

Sale items benefit from the same statutory return rights as all other products, unless a specific exception applies under applicable consumer protection law.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, gift cards cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for cash.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Where applicable, refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take several business days before the funds appear in your account.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided satisfactory proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Where permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to reduce the amount of any refund if the value of the returned goods has been diminished as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
